One of the most common questions for the artist. Let’s break down what affects the longevity.
On the hairs, the color typically lasts about 4 weeks until the hairs shed. Sometimes the color can fade if the brows were light before tinting or if you spend a lot of time in the sun. When using henna, the hairs don’t lighten.
The durability of the effect on the skin depends on skin type (skin density, amount of oil) and external factors (contact with water, cosmetics). The dye lasts longer on dry skin, while henna works better on oilier skin. The color can stay on the skin for 5-14 days.
If you don’t want to tint your skin, let your artist know, as you can just tint the hairs for a more natural effect.
